Prof.Tu Guangshao, Former Executive Vice Mayor of Shanghai; Former Chairman of the Board, Shanghai Advanced Institute of Finance (SAIF), Shanghai Jiao Tong University
Prof. Tu Guangshao, Former Executive Vice Mayor of Shanghai; Former Chairman of the Board, Shanghai Advanced Institute of Finance (SAIF), Shanghai Jiao Tong UniversityTu Guangshaodelivered a keynote speech titled "Global Capital Allocation of Chinese Assets and High-Level Openness of Finance." He pointed out that global asset allocation is shifting from relatively concentrated to diversified, from US dollar assets to non-US dollar assets, and from traditional assets to new quality assets. This shift provides a strategic opportunity to enhance the importance of Chinese assets in the global allocation landscape. He emphasized that the increase in the importance of Chinese assets stems from four pillars: a solid economic foundation, a complete industrial system, a super-large market, and accelerated innovation momentum. Tu further noted that, in the current international environment, global capital tends to seek safe, stable, and growth-oriented assets. China has the ability to provide these types of assets to international capital. The demand for Chinese assets by global capital is crucial for building a new development pattern, promoting the internationalization of the RMB, and enhancing China's international financial influence. He suggested that the key to seizing opportunities lies in expanding openness, improving the openness system, promoting institutional openness, and strengthening the openness foundation. He specifically recommended that Shanghai should accelerate the construction of a global RMB asset allocation and management center, enabling global capital to allocate Chinese assets more efficiently through the Shanghai financial market system. This is a fundamental and long-term support for Shanghai's international financial center.
Prof.Tu Guangshao, former Executive Vice Mayor of Shanghai and former Chairman of the Board of the Shanghai Advanced Institute of Finance (SAIF) at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, delivered a keynote speech as a special guest. Drawing on macroeconomic insights and financial reform perspectives, he offered an in-depth interpretation of finance's mission in the new era: serving the real economy. He also provided a precise analysis of the coordinated development pathway linking financial innovation, industrial upgrading, and the cultivation of new quality productive forces—particularly at the outset of the 15th Five-Year Plan period. His remarks offered authoritative guidance on how finance can empower the high-quality development of the real economy.

Aroop Zutshi, Global President & Managing Partner, Executive Board Member, Frost & Sullivan
Aroop Zutshi, Global President & Managing Partner, Executive Board Member, Frost & Sullivan
Aroop Zutshi delivered a keynote speech on transformational growth in the AI era. He pointed out that the deep integration of technology and professional judgment is redefining the consulting industry, as well as how enterprises access growth insights. Companies need to embrace AI with an open mindset, embed it across strategy, brand and organizational operations, and turn tool-level advantages into long-term institutional capabilities. Based on long-term observation of global markets, Zutshi emphasized that Chinese enterprises are undergoing a key transition from "product export" to "brand credibility building", and building world-class brands is a long-term project. He noted that the resilience of China's market comes from the triple strength of its market, industry and talent, and Chinese innovation is shifting from business model innovation to hard technology innovation, and from speed-first to quality-first — laying a solid foundation for Chinese brands to go global. Zutshi stated that the fundamental way to navigate cycles is long-termism and continuous transformation. Frost & Sullivan will help Chinese enterprises turn cognitive advantages in the AI era into brand advantages and growth momentum, building long-term, sustainable competitive moats in global markets.

Dr. Neil Wang, Global Senior VP, Co-Chairman of Asia Pacific, and Chairman of China, Frost & Sullivan
Dr. Neil Wang, Global Senior VP, Co-Chairman of Asia Pacific, and Chairman of China, Frost & Sullivan
Dr. Neil Wang delivered an annual core theme speech. Combining the trends of the "15th Five-Year Plan" start, he comprehensively reviewed and predicted the strategic opportunities and long-term industry trends of the Chinese economy. He began by saying that having technology does not equal having the future; only by daring to transform can one achieve growth. By understanding the future, one can control it—this insight became the core essence of the "Resilient Growth" theme of this summit. Dr. Wang pointed out that the global innovation landscape is being redefined, and China is a cornerstone of world economic development. "Investing heavily in China means investing heavily in the future."
Dr. Neil Wang, Global Senior VP, Co-Chairman of Asia Pacific, and Chairman of Frost & Sullivan China, delivered the annual keynote speech, comprehensively reviewing and forecasting China’s strategic opportunities and long-term industry trends against the backdrop of the 15th Five-Year Plan opening year. He began with a clear statement: technology alone does not guarantee the future; only those who dare to transform will win growth; only by foreseeing the future can we navigate it — a judgment that became the core footnote of this Summit’s "resilient growth" theme. Dr. Wang noted that the global innovation landscape is being reshaped, and China is the anchor of world economic development; "investing in China is investing in the future."
At the summit, Dr. Wang Xin presented the White Paper on China’s Industry Development Trends in the Next 50 Years (5th Edition), jointly produced by Frost & Sullivan and LeadLeo Research Institute, which deconstructs China’s industry iteration trajectory and development opportunities from an ultra-long-term perspective. On how enterprises can navigate cycles, he systematically elaborated the "Resilience Triangle (MIT)" — Mission, Innovation, and Trust, all three indispensable. He proposed the core development concept of "AI + HI = CI (Artificial Intelligence + Human Intelligence = Collaborative Intelligence)", proving that the deep integration of technological innovation and professional wisdom is the ultimate core driver of long-term global industry growth. He also outlined three long-term directions as "BIG": Branding, Innovation, and Globalization, helping Chinese enterprises move from "Made in China" to "Chinese Brands".

Dr. Wang Xin emphasized at the summit that the underlying code of the China model is "strategic resolve". Chinese enterprises are moving from "learning global best practices" to "contributing global business paradigms", and "leading sci-tech innovation, serving the people, contributing to the country, and going global" is the spiritual coordinate of contemporary Chinese entrepreneurs.

Chinese companies are shifting from "learning global best practices" to "contributing global business paradigms", and "leading sci-tech innovation, serving the people, contributing to the country, and going global" represents the spiritual goal of modern Chinese entrepreneurs.

Prof. Vinod K. Aggarwal, Global Chief Economist, Frost & Sullivan; Distinguished Professor, UC Berkeley; Director, Berkeley APEC Study Center (BASC)
Prof. Vinod K. Aggarwal, Global Chief Economist, Frost & Sullivan; Distinguished Professor, UC Berkeley; Director, Berkeley APEC Study Center (BASC), delivered the annual keynote address "A Fragmenting World: Market and Nonmarket Strategies for Success". Prof. Aggarwal pointed out that the global economic and trade landscape is undergoing profound adjustments, with regional economic cooperation mechanisms being rapidly restructured, creating both challenges and new opportunities. In the face of a complex and volatile international environment, enterprises must organically integrate market competition strategies with nonmarket strategies — by deepening product and market development, proactively strengthening compliance systems, enhancing localized operations, and actively participating in industry collaboration and multilateral cooperation to build an integrated, sustainable global business strategy. Based on his long-term research experience, Prof. Aggarwal offered suggestions for high-quality "going global" for Chinese enterprises: openness and cooperation remain the mainstream of the world economy. Chinese enterprises should adopt a long-termist approach to global expansion, integrate into local markets and industrial ecosystems with an open mindset, utilize regional cooperation mechanisms to expand their development space, enhance certainty in uncertain times, and achieve stable and sustainable global growth.
