Exhaled gas testing is an emerging field in point-of-care (POCT) diagnostics, which can diagnose the health status of subjects by detecting concentrations of exhaled components. Currently, the most commonly conducted test in China is the urea breath test, used for the detection of Helicobacter pylori. Emerging exhaled gas tests include nitric oxide breath tests and hydrogen/methane breath tests, which are gradually becoming routine diagnostic items in clinical departments. Based on this, Frost & Sullivan (Frost & Sullivan) has released an industry research report on the emerging technology market for exhaled gas testing.
