2026 Brain-Computer Interface Conference Investment and Financing Sub-forum
According tothe浦江 Innovation Forum·2026 Brain-Computer Interface Conference Organizing Committeethe latest arrangements, the date of the浦江 Innovation Forum·2026 Brain-Computer Interface Conference has been adjusted from November 27–29, 2026, to December 3–6, 2026, with the same city and venue. As an important thematic activity focusing on the capital market, the Investment and Financing Sub-forum of the浦江 Innovation Forum·2026 Brain-Computer Interface Conference will be held on December 4, organized by Frost & Sullivan (hereafter "Sullivan"), co-organized by Shanghai State Capital Investment Co., Ltd. (hereafter "Shanghai State Capital"), Guotai Haitong Securities Co., Ltd. (hereafter "Guotai Haitong"), and held at Shanghai Brain Intelligence World.
As brain-computer interface technology moves from laboratory research to clinical validation and industrialization exploration, the global capital market’s attention to this field continues to deepen, and the investment logic is also evolving: early on, more emphasis was placed on technical potential, while now, it focuses on whether the clinical value can be verified, whether the registration path is clear, and whether the payment mechanism is established. Therefore, this forum will bring together domestic and foreign investment institutions, industry funds, brain-computer interface innovation companies, and clinical and scientific research experts to discuss core topics such as the global development trends of the brain-computer interface industry, investment value judgment, corporate financing, and capitalization pathways, and it plans to invite150 investment institutions and 50 innovative projectsto participate.
01
Tripartite collaboration to establish a full-chain support system for investment and financing in brain-computer interfaces
The purpose of this forum is not to answer the question of "whether to pay attention to brain-computer interfaces," but rather "how to price them and who will accompany them through the long cycle." The value of an investment and financing forum lies in its ability to organize different types of capital and professional capabilities at various stages. This sub-forum is organized by Sullivan, co-organized by Shanghai State Capital and Guotai Haitong. The three parties build their respective accumulations in industrial research, long-term capital, and capital market channels, forming the "research - capital - channel" collaborative structure of this forum.
1. Sullivan: Translating cutting-edge technology into comparable investment language.
As a globally renowned professional service provider for investment and corporate growth consulting, Sullivan has long been deeply involved in global industrial research, investment strategy consulting, and capital market services. It has accumulated extensive experience in corporate valuation, commercial due diligence, listing industry advisory, investment and financing consulting, and merger and acquisition transactions, and relies on its global research network, industrial database, and expert resources to provide research support for global enterprises, investment institutions, and capital market participants.
Sullivan has helped nearly 3,000 companies list in Hong Kong and domestically and abroad. According to LiveReport’s big data statistics, industry advisory is an essential intermediary before a new stock listing in Hong Kong. In the 527 companies that filed for listing in the first 8 months of 2026, Sullivan was involved in 368, accounting for 69.83%. Moreover, in recent years, Sullivan’s reports have been widely cited in the prospectuses of listed companies on the A-share market and Sci-Tech Innovation Board, as well as in primary and secondary market research reports and other capital market public notice documents. Focusing on dimensions such as market size, competitive landscape, technological advancement, business model, and growth potential, Sullivan can provide support for corporate strategic planning, commercial due diligence, valuation analysis, and capital market communication. Its financial advisor services also cover pre-listing financing, target selection for investment, investor matching, due diligence, transaction valuation, and merger and acquisition consulting.
2. Shanghai State Capital: Providing patient capital aligned with the long cycle.
Shanghai State Capital is a Shanghai Municipal State Capital Investment Operation Platform. Through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Shanghai State Capital Pioneer, it manages the Shanghai Integrated Circuit, Biopharmaceuticals, and Artificial Intelligence Three Pioneer Industry Mother Fund, with a total scale of 90.003 billion yuan, including a biopharmaceutical fund worth 22.501 billion yuan, with a 15-year fund term. Such a term structure naturally aligns with the long cycle of brain-computer interfaces—from technical validation to clinical registration and then to large-scale application.
Operatively, Shanghai State Capital Pioneer promotes the combination of "mother fund + direct investment + merger and acquisition integration," covering innovative companies from early to growth stages through its sub-fund network and has recently included brain-computer interfaces in its key investment priorities during sub-fund selection. For the companies attending this forum, this means a path to patient capital: not only capital, but also industrial resources related to clinical trials, registration testing, manufacturing support, and scenario implementation.
3. Guotai Haitong: The link between industry and the capital market.
Guotai Haitong is formed by the merger of Guotai Junan and Haitong Securities and is a comprehensive financial service provider that has long been a long-term, sustained, and comprehensive leader in the Chinese capital market. As of June 30, 2026, the company’s consolidated total assets were 2.50 trillion yuan, and its net asset value attributable to the parent company was 73.30 billion yuan, both ranking first in the industry. In terms of investment banking, in the first half of 2026, there were 18 A-share IPO approvals, 57 companies under review or awaiting issuance, and 29.5 new acceptances, all ranking first in the industry; 13 Hong Kong Stock Exchange placement projects were completed, maintaining its position as the leading Chinese-funded broker.
For brain-computer interface companies, from shareholding system reform and pre-listing financing to A-share or Hong Kong Stock Exchange listing, and then to post-listing refinancing and merger and acquisition restructuring, they rely on the full-process empowerment of professional investment banking partners. Investment institutions also urgently need mature path planning, valuation pricing, and transaction scheme design support during the project exit stage. Guotai Haitong’s service network covers 17 countries and regions; its A-share underwriting volume ranks among the top in the industry, and its Hong Kong Stock Exchange business remains leading, enabling it to provide a full-chain capital market support for the domestic and foreign capital operations, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, and international expansion of brain-computer interface companies.
When the three parties work together, investment institutions can obtain a comparable industrial research framework and a screened project pool, reducing information asymmetry between technology and valuation; innovative companies can simultaneously face patient capital, financial investors, and investment bank channels, allowing financing, listing, and merger and acquisition to be discussed on the same timeline; scientific research and clinical teams can, using the perspective of industry and capital, re-examine the path and sequence from technology to product.

Exhibition area recruitment: Display prototype machines on the route that investors and customers must follow
This conference will be held in two venues. From December 5–6, a relevant exhibition area will be set up at Shanghai Hongqiao Conference Center, showcasing the technology, products, and application explorations of brain-computer interface companies. The exhibition area will remain open for two additional days, allowing for in-person demonstrations and hands-on experiences for products that cannot be presented during the roadshow. The exhibition area is stratified by the industrial chain: 1F upstream suppliers (electrodes, chips, materials, precision manufacturing), 2F midstream service providers and downstream application scenarios.
The recruitment targets brain-computer interface companies that are in the stage of clinical validation or industrialization, with available prototypes or machines to display, as well as upstream device, material, chip, and precision manufacturing enterprises, and clinical and rehabilitation and application scenario parties. For investment institutions, this area addresses the question that the roadshow cannot answer: “Can it be made?” Prototype machines, production lines, and delivery capabilities are easier to verify on the exhibition stand than in the roadshow presentation.

Conference 1F exhibition area (proposed): Upstream suppliers

Conference 2F exhibition area (proposed): Midstream service providers/downstream application scenarios
*The specific booth layout will be determined on-site.
