Shanghai, August 4, 2026. At the 2026 Frost & Sullivan GIL Summit, Aroop Zutshi, Global President, Managing Partner and Executive Board Member of Frost & Sullivan, announced the launch of three proprietary AI platforms in China — the Transformation Engine, MEGA NEGA and BEACON (the GEO platform) — designed to assist companies in achieving transformative growth. He noted that 90% of companies with strong strategies fail to achieve results, emphasizing the need for best-practice implementation, dynamic decision intelligence, and generative engine optimization to enhance brand visibility in the AI era.

Here are the key points from Mr. Zutshi’s speech:

Hello. A very warm welcome to all of you. On behalf of the Frost & Sullivan Board of Directors, our Chairman and CEO Mr. Frigstad, and the Chinese team led by Dr. Neil Wang — along with several members from other parts of the world who are with me today. I would like to briefly introduce those individuals as well.

Hello. A very warm welcome to all of you. On behalf of the Frost & Sullivan Board of Directors, our global Chairman and CEOMr. Fu Daweiand the Chinese team led by Dr. Wang Xin — there are also several team members from around the world with me today. Please allow me to introduce them briefly.

We have Professor Vinod Aggarwal, who is not only our Chief Global Economist but also a professor at the University of California, Berkeley — a senior tenured professor who helps us with all non-market strategies. You will hear from him later today. We have brought a great team of people who can assist and support you on your path to transformational growth.

You will hear from him later today. We have brought a great team of people who can assist and support you on your path to transformational growth.

Over the years, Frost & Sullivan has evolved to help companies undergo transformation. Why is this important? The reason is that we all know one of the most significant changes in today’s world is the Intelligence Revolution — as mentioned by David — and that is AI. Artificial Intelligence is transforming everything in the world today.

Over the years, Frost & Sullivan has developed to assist companies in achieving transformation. Why is this important? Because we all know that one of the most significant changes in today’s world is the Intelligence Revolution — as mentioned by David — and that is AI. Artificial Intelligence is changing everything in the world today.

Many companies have already learned how to utilize AI — they are improving productivity, enhancing efficiency, and exploring ways to automate their workflows. Much work has been done in this area. However, I believe forward-looking companies — many of whom are here — are using AI to drive innovation, expand market presence, optimize strategy and decision-making, and ultimately dominate the market and become true market leaders. This is what most companies focused on with AI are aiming for.

But I believe forward-looking companies — many of whom are here — are using AI to drive innovation, expand markets, optimize strategy and decision-making, and ultimately dominate the market and become true market leaders. This is what most companies focused on with AI are aiming for.

What I will share with you today are real use cases of companies around the world, including in China, that use AI to drive and transform their businesses. In my opinion, the best way to do this is to present three use cases that I have prepared for you.

What I will share today are real use cases of companies worldwide, including in China, that use AI to drive and transform their businesses. In my opinion, the best way is to present three cases for you.

The first use case was for a global HVAC company that wanted to expand its business in different regions. They realized that the only way to do this is to understand the key elements required for growth. Market size, growth rate, total available market — all of this information was crucial for them. Therefore, they turned to Frost & Sullivan, worked with us, and we helped them through this process.

The first case involved a global HVAC company that wanted to expand its business in various regions. They understood that understanding the key elements required for growth was essential. Market size, growth rate, total market availability — all of this was important. So they partnered with Frost & Sullivan, and we supported them throughout this process.

The second company was a major automotive supplier that also wanted to expand into new regions — similar to what everyone is doing, focusing on globalization. This was exactly what they wanted to do. But because the markets are highly dynamic today — as David said — past revolutions took thousands of years, while today’s revolution happens in hours. Things change within hours. How do you maintain agility? How do you stay in control? That’s when you need platforms that enable dynamic decision-making. That’s what the automotive supplier needed, and we supported them in that process.

The second company was a large auto parts supplier that also wanted to expand into new markets — similar to what everyone is doing, focusing on globalization. This was exactly what they wanted to do. But because the markets are rapidly changing — as Mr. Fu Dawei said — past revolutions took thousands of years, while today’s revolution happens in hours. Things change within hours. How do you maintain agility? How do you stay in control? That’s when you need platforms that enable dynamic decision-making. That’s what the auto parts supplier needed, and we supported them throughout this process.

The last case was a deep tech company that wanted to create a new brand for their products. As you know, building and maintaining a brand takes a lifetime. So the only way they wanted to do it was to assess their brand equity and increase demand generation during that process. We reviewed these three cases, and I believe these are things that most companies here would be very interested in understanding. I am sure these cases resonate with most of you.

It is well known that building a brand requires a lifetime of effort. Their approach was to evaluate brand assets and enhance demand generation during that process. After reviewing these three cases, I believe most companies here will be very interested. I am sure these cases will resonate with most of you.

Let me make it a bit more interactive — please raise your hand and tell me which of these three cases resonates most with you? First, the HVAC company. Second, the auto parts supplier. Third, the deep tech company. Just tell me which one. First? Okay, a few hands. Second, the auto parts supplier? A few more hands. Third, the deep tech company’s brand case — how many? Oh, I can clearly see that more and more people are participating, which is what we have observed worldwide.

Let’s have some interaction — please raise your hand and tell me which of these three cases resonates most with you? First, the HVAC company; second, the auto parts supplier; third, the deep tech company’s brand case — how many? Oh, I can clearly see that more and more people are participating, which is consistent with our observations worldwide.

Today, on the 65th anniversary of Frost & Sullivan Global and our 20th Growth, Innovation and Leadership Summit and 5th New Investment Event, I am very excited to announce three new AI platforms that help companies achieve transformational growth. The first is called the Transformation Engine. This is an AI platform developed by Frost & Sullivan that helps implement strategies at best-practice levels. If anyone is interested in this platform, please contact me or my colleagues in the China office, and we will be happy to involve you in this process.

Second is what we call MEGA NEGA, which is essentially the transition from static intelligence to living intelligence. We discuss the numerous changes taking place, so you must focus on dynamic signals and information. I will briefly discuss these three platforms later. The third one is, of course, brand equity—increasing your brand equity and thus accelerating demand. Everyone wants to grow, everyone wants to ensure their company succeeds. This is again a digital platform that helps optimize the generative engine—so you need to ensure your products and company appear in various LLM platforms. Today, we have these three platforms. We are launching them in China today. I am very excited that you will be able to see these three platforms soon. Tomorrow, if you are in the city, we welcome you—and I personally welcome you—to attend a workshop focused on MEGA NEGA, which is about decision intelligence. If you look at why these platforms are important, you will find that nearly seventy percent—the vast majority of CEOs—when asked about their top internal challenge, they mention the team’s inability to implement strategies at best-practice levels. Strategies are good, idea generation is excellent, but execution is not easy. Often, due to misalignment, senior leaders and CEOs do not truly connect with the entire organization. When there is a disconnect, what happens? You cannot maximize your future growth potential. You cannot obtain the benefits from what you develop and produce. All that innovation goes nowhere, becomes weak, because it cannot be implemented. That is why you need a system, a process, a platform, and case studies that help you implement this at best-practice levels.

The second is MEGA NEGA, which represents the shift from static intelligence to dynamic living intelligence. With so many changes occurring, you must focus on dynamic signals and information. I will explain these three platforms in more detail later. The third platform focuses on brand equity—enhancing brand equity and thereby accelerating demand. Every company desires growth and success. This is also a digital platform that aids in optimizing the generative engine—ensuring your products and company appear in various large model platforms. Today, these three platforms are officially launched in China. I am thrilled that you will be able to see them soon. Tomorrow, if you are in Shanghai, I sincerely invite you to participate in a workshop on MEGA NEGA decision intelligence. Why are these platforms important? Nearly seventy percent—most CEOs—when asked about their biggest internal challenge, say the team cannot implement strategies at best-practice levels. Strategies are good, ideas are great, but execution is not easy. Often, due to misalignment, senior leaders and CEOs do not truly connect with the entire organization. When there is a disconnect, what happens? You cannot maximize your future growth potential. You cannot obtain the benefits from what you develop and produce. All innovation is wasted, becoming weak because it cannot be implemented. Therefore, you need a system, a process, a platform, and case studies to help you implement this at best-practice levels.

Today, I can tell you that ninety percent of companies with excellent strategies—both market and non-market—do not achieve the desired outcomes and results. Obviously, when this happens, shareholders are not satisfied with the results of those organizations. That is why having such a system is very important. That is why we developed this platform. This platform also considers three key components. First, all transformation targets—the areas you aim to improve, change, and implement, as well as all growth opportunities in your system. You analyze insights, develop methodologies around them, and deliver them through a technology platform, using growth coaching. This is becoming equally important today—clients need growth coaching. Just as we have growth coaches in every part of the sports industry, right? You just saw the World Football Championship—every team had a coach. It is unfortunate that in the business world, we do not have many coaches. CEOs do not have coaches. This is something we must consider in the future. Therefore, we have included growth coaching as part of this platform—so you can maximize your impact within your organization through growth coaching. Today, we will also share some growth coaching skills you need to achieve this.

I can tell you today that 90% of companies with great strategies—whether market or non-market—do not achieve the expected results. Clearly, shareholders are not happy with these results. This platform includes three core components. First, all transformation targets—the areas you aim to improve, change, and implement, as well as all growth opportunities in your system. You need insights, develop methodologies based on them, deliver them through a technology platform, and implement them via growth coaching. This is becoming equally important today—clients require growth coaching. Just as there are coaches in every part of sports, everyone has a coach after watching the World Football Championship. Unfortunately, the business world lacks many coaches, and CEOs do not have coaches. This is an issue we must address in the future. Therefore, we have integrated growth coaching into the platform to help you maximize your impact within your organization. Today, we will also share the growth coaching skills you need to achieve this.

The second is the MEGA NEGA platform. As I mentioned earlier, there are many changes occurring—information, data, and data analytics are evolving rapidly. For Frost & Sullivan, this is a unique area because we have a 65-year history. I can proudly say that today, no other company in the world possesses the level of intelligence, industry insights, industry research, and curated data that are ready for AI, compared to any other company. We cover 4,500 industry sectors, subsectors, and sub-subsectors—no company can compare. That is why, as David rightly said, of the one million companies founded in the US each year, only one or two last 65 years. I am proud to say that, thanks to your support, we are one of those organizations. It is very important to have this, and this platform enables you to do so—making you more dynamic. By doing so, you can avoid costly mistakes, prepare for possible changes, and ensure that when you expand your business or go global, you are well prepared for all potential challenges. This is the power of the real-time, dynamic, ongoing decision intelligence system that is part of our relationship with you.

The last platform I mentioned, where most people raised their hands, is GEO, which is the Generative Engine Optimization Platform. Why is it important? For years, we were familiar with SEO. To be recognized and exist, you had to be on search engine platforms—whether Baidu, Google, or Microsoft Bing. SEO was extremely important. But now, as you can see, how often do you actually search on traditional platforms? Most people no longer do. Most of us ask questions to LLM models—whether Kimi, DeepSeek, OpenAI ChatGPT, or Google’s Gemini. We all seek answers. That is how our minds are trained. Therefore, our companies, organizations, products, and features must be connected to those platforms. If you are not on that platform, you are not searched for, and you do not exist to the outside world. Clearly, having this platform that measures brand equity is very important. This platform does exactly that. Consequently, everything you can do once you understand your position relative to competitors. In fact, at Frost & Sullivan, we did the same exercise. We expected our brand equity to be between ninety and hundred, but the data showed a much lower number on GEO platforms.

The last platform—also the one with the most hands raised—is GEO, which is the Generative Engine Optimization Platform. Why is it important? For years, we were familiar with SEO. We expected our brand equity to be between ninety and hundred, but the data showed a much lower number on GEO platforms.GeminiWe are all looking for answers there, and so has our thinking pattern. This means that our businesses, organizations, products, and features must be connected to these platforms. If they aren’t on these platforms, you cannot search for them, and from an external perspective, you do not exist. Therefore, having a platform to measure brand assets is crucial. The platform we have created is precisely for this purpose. Of course, once you understand your position relative to competitors, everything else becomes clear. In fact, Frost & Sullivan conducted the same test. We thought our brand assets were between 90 and 100 points, but data from the GEO platform shows it is much lower.

So currently, David, myself, and many leaders in the company are working to enhance this and improve our position in the market. That is what these platforms do. What I really hope you all consider—and the wisdom I would like to share with you all—is: are you ready to accelerate your strategy, planning, and implementation? If you want to maximize growth, you must be prepared. Let’s ensure that each of you conducts a growth assessment with us, then uses the Transformation Engine platform to drive growth. Frost & Sullivan is using it ourselves—we are a perfect example of what we develop. I can tell you today that, if you are interested, I can show you the progress we have made in the company with growth in all our operations, ranging from 30 to 60 to 80 percent. Next, if you are ready for dynamic decision-making, then the MEGA NEGA platform is the platform you should work with. Finally, if you want to improve your brand positioning, brand equity, and increase demand—meaning you want continuous growth and build global influence—then you should join this platform. With that, I would like to thank you once more. I hope you have a great day today. We will be present both today and tomorrow. If anyone wants direct contact, please reach out to us. We will be happy to engage. Thank you.

Therefore, Fuda Dawei, myself, and many leaders in the company are striving to enhance our position in the market. This is the value of these platforms. I truly hope you all consider one question—and a piece of wisdom I would like to share: Are you ready to accelerate your strategy, planning, and execution? To maximize growth, you must be prepared. Please conduct a growth assessment with us and use the Transformation Engine platform to drive growth. Frost & Sullivan is also using it—we are a perfect example of what we develop. If you are interested, I can show you the growth in various business areas within the company, ranging from 30 to 60 to 80 percent. Second, if you are ready for dynamic decision-making, the MEGA NEGA platform is your choice. Lastly, if you want to improve your brand positioning and brand equity and increase demand—meaning continuous growth and building global influence—then you should join this platform. Here, I would like to thank you again. I wish you a productive day today. We will be present both today and tomorrow. Any friend who wants direct communication is welcome to contact us. We are happy to discuss further. Thank you.
