On November 12, 2024, after four weeks of course study and practical training, the Frost & Sullivan/Frost & Sullivan China series of industry research and investment management lectures jointly organized by Frost & Sullivan and Shanghai University of Finance and Economics successfully concluded at the headquarters of Frost & Sullivan China. This course attracted 30 outstanding students from the Master of Finance (Chief Investment Officer) program, aiming to enhance their professional skills and knowledge in industry research and investment management.
During the nearly one-month learning period, the students comprehensively mastered various key skills in industry research. The course was carefully designed with rich content, covering multiple aspects such as industry overview, AI research, market size estimation, and competitive landscape analysis, providing a market-oriented perspective to help students deeply experience the analyst's research process. During the course, a practical assignment session was arranged, where students worked in groups of three, actively participating in writing exercises, practicing through learning, and gaining insights through practice.
On the 12th, under the organization of the school authorities, more than 30 students visited Frost & Sullivan's office in Shanghai for the course conclusion roadshow. The roadshow was evaluated by Professor Fang Fang, Director of the Postgraduate Education Center for Master of Finance (Chief Investment Officer) at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Mr. Zhou Mingzi, Consulting Director for Greater China at Frost & Sullivan, Mr. Liu Weiqi, Consulting Manager for Greater China at Frost & Sullivan, and Ms. Fu Xueyan, Consulting Advisor for Greater China at Frost & Sullivan.
The project covered 10 different sectors, including TMT, consumer goods, healthcare, technology, and other fields. After nearly one month of learning and practice, each team completed high-quality industry research reports and further deepened their understanding of industry research during the Q&A session with expert reviewers.
The students' serious and focused attitude and excellent presentations received unanimous praise from the evaluation panel. With laughter and joy, this course officially concluded.
So far, the Frost & Sullivan LeadLeo industry research innovation course has been introduced to several well-known universities and has received unanimous praise from faculty and students.
