Hengyi Biotechnology was established in 2014, headquartered in Dongguan. It is the only company in China that has achieved mass production of recombinant human type III collagen with a true triple helix structure and resistance to high temperatures of 90°C, reaching a capacity of 3×30 tons per ton. Relying on the dual-wheel drive of structural biology and synthetic biology, the company has built a full-chain product system of 'active ingredients - medical devices - effective skincare'. Multiple pipelines for Class II and Class III medical devices and cosmetic-grade ingredients have been certified or are in the final stages of registration.

Hengyi Biotechnology has achieved in-depth industrial resource collaboration with Jinmeiji Health Industry Group for 30 years, continuously promoting the clinical transformation of recombinant collagen in the fields of medical aesthetics filling, wound care, and scalp anti-aging. In 2025, the company's core product 'Medical Recombinant Collagen Gel' officially launched the registration application for Class III medical devices, with indications for facial filling; in the same year, 'Hengyi Re^®The recombinant collagen freeze-dried fiber has obtained Class II medical device registration, which is used for the care of non-chronic wounds. Previously, the company's triple helix collagen had completed INCI international naming and registration with the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA), allowing downstream enterprises to directly reference it, thus advancing the product's market launch by a step.

Hengyi Biotech has developed recombinant triple helix collagen using a humanized sequence design. Its main advantages include high-temperature stability, high biological activity, and low immunogenicity. The consistency of quality across different batches meets the requirements for GMP large-scale production. Based on the characteristics of this core raw material, the company has focused on three major indications: medical aesthetics filling, wound repair, and scalp anti-aging, and is simultaneously advancing raw material filing, medical device registration, and the launch of efficacy skincare products: In the medical aesthetics field, it has developed long-acting facial fillers; in the wound care field, it has developed Class II dressings to accelerate skin barrier repair; and in the scalp anti-aging field, it plans to launch a XVII type collagen medical device combination product for hair loss prevention and hair restoration.
