The deep convergence of artificial intelligence (AI) and augmented reality (AR) is opening up an entirely new frontier in intelligent terminal devices. All-in-one AI+AR smart glasses, built on an eyewear form factor, powered by large language models, and grounded in near-eye optical display technology, are steadily transitioning from a technological concept to mainstream consumer adoption, emerging as the most promising next-generation personal computing platform since the smartphone. Lightweight, wireless, and self-contained design has emerged as a defining industry consensus: only by operating independently of external devices can AI capabilities truly integrate into everyday wear. At the same time, full-color display solutions, led by MicroLED and optical waveguide technologies, are accelerating their penetration into the consumer market, elevating the product experience from functional utility toward truly immersive augmented reality. China has already established a comprehensive industry chain spanning upstream optical components and semiconductors through to terminal brands and ecosystem services, with leading players accelerating technology iteration and large-scale production as the sector enters a period of rapid growth.
