PaiZhen Biology continues to tackle the core bottlenecks in AAV industrialization, covering various aspects such as AAV production cell lines, high cell density transfection, downstream Full Capsid enrichment, control of residual plasmid backbone and host cell DNA, Empty/Full detection methods, rcAAV reference materials, rapid mycoplasma detection, and new AAV delivery safety design. The company has over 60 proprietary AAV analysis and testing methods, meeting IND submission and clinical sample release requirements, covering all critical quality attributes. Adhering to international standards, PaiZhen Biology has established a sterile filling and release system compliant with GMP, achieving complete closed-loop management from raw materials to final products. In 2021, the company built Asia’s first 4000L capacity cGMP-level AAV production facility, with a total area of 8000 square meters. PaiZhen Biology is headquartered in Guangzhou. It established a subsidiary in the United States in 2015, a Swiss subsidiary in 2022, and the US CDMO facility was officially put into operation in December 2024, forming an international operational model of “China + USA + Europe”.
