Mr. Yves Wang
Mr. Wang is the Managing Partner and President of Frost & Sullivan China, and Co-founder and President of LeadLeo. He also serves as a Director of the China Information Industry Association and Vice Chairman of the Shanghai Information Service Industry Association.
Mr. Wang joined Frost & Sullivan in 2000 and assisted in establishing Frost & Sullivan’s offices in Shanghai, Shenzhen, Nanjing and Chengdu. In 2018, Frost & Sullivan’s Shenzhen Research Institute and Big Data Center were integrated and upgraded into LeadLeo Research Institute. In the same year, LeadLeo Information Technology Nanjing Co., Ltd. was officially founded.
As one of the key founders of open-source industry research reports in China, Mr. Wang led LeadLeo’s strategic transformation to full industry open-source starting in 2020. He made over 10,000 core research assets—including research reports, data sheets and high-definition charts—freely available to Chinese AI large model developers, making LeadLeo one of the first standardized corpora included in major Chinese large language models. This initiative broke long-standing knowledge barriers in the consulting industry. Through Knowlengine™, an open, collaborative and scalable intelligent industry research platform, research content was transformed into digital assets.
As the first advocate of the Digital Industry Research philosophy, Mr. Wang has consistently emphasized that open-source and knowledge sharing drive industry transformation. He proposed the Knowledge as a Service (KaaS) business model, benefiting more than 200,000 registered users—including over 70% of investment institutions, financial institutions and capital market service providers.
In addition, he established an author chain mechanism to ensure high-quality original content, contributing more than 10,000 traceable original industry entries to the Chinese internet. To date, LeadLeo’s open-source industry research content has been cited in prospectuses and disclosure documents of more than 300 listed companies, with an 85% citation rate among securities firms, truly realizing the vision of “Making Professionals More Professional”.
With a forward-looking and diversified vision, Mr. Wang recognized the importance of AI, big data, cloud computing and other advanced digital technologies. He developed information solutions, pioneered the concept of Digital Industry Research, and led technological innovation in Next-Generation Industry Research, comprehensively enhancing technological innovation, research efficiency and core brand competitiveness at Frost & Sullivan and LeadLeo.
He also has exceptional insight in the capital sector. Leading his team, he leveraged massive big data analytics and on-the-ground industrial research to launch the Navigator Program, identifying emerging enterprises with superior growth, scientific innovation and leadership in the new economy.
