In 2023, Zehui Biotech received approval from the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) to conduct Phase II clinical trials for two indications of acute graft-versus-host disease and acute exacerbation of interstitial lung disease using CAStem cell injection. Previously, the company's new drug clinical trials for CAStem cell injection in the treatment of acute respiratory distress syndrome and meniscus injury were approved by the NMPA.
