Aroop Zutshi, Global Partner and Executive Director of the Board at Frost & Sullivan, Professor Wang Yu, President of the China Hepatitis Prevention and Control Foundation and former Director of the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, jointly presented awards to Dr. Jiao Peng, Chairman and CEO of Bibo Biotech.

Bibo Biotech was established in Boston, USA in 2014 and currently has two R&D centers and three GMP factories globally. Bioprocess Technology Group (BPG) successfully completed the construction of a single-tank 30,000-liter ultra-large-scale production line in 2023 and commenced operation in March 2024, marking the official entry into the fourth wave of biomanufacturing technology. Compared to the currently mainstream volume specification of 15,000 liters for large-scale commercial production of biopharmaceuticals internationally, the 30,000-liter reactor (working volume) has successfully achieved an engineering amplification of more than 2.5 times.

Bibo Biotech has utilized the 'scale-cost' effect to break through the single-tank limit of 30,000 liters for the first time internationally. Relying on this unique advantage, Bibo Biotech has further enhanced the agglomeration effect of production capacity and is working towards advancing the construction of a total production capacity of one million liters. In addition, Bibo Biotech has achieved an organic combination of engineering economy, production flexibility and convenience, as well as process stability, through the synergy of the PanFlex-Engineering, Grand-CHO platform process, and pulsating continuous production model. This can significantly improve the output efficiency of biologics, increase the utilization rate of equipment and facilities, and reduce operating costs.
